The Acheloos Run is an annual running event held in Neochori in Messolonghi, Greece, organized by the Oiniades Running Team Sports Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
How can the organization the Oiniades Running Team Sports Association act to raise awareness of the necessary actions that must be taken by the stakeholders of the region to develop sports tourism in the wider area of Messolonghi?
Oiniades Running Team wanted to be repositioned its event brand as a supporter of the sports and tourism development of the region.
Response
To share the intensity, the magic and the emotion of the running event and the opportunities that can arise in this area, Mōrēs developed a multi-touchpoint campaign and took over the communication to social media networks, website, and media and curated the event gala to make the first step to connect with the key stakeholders of the industry.
Impact
This event offered Acheloos a new rebranding solution and introduced new channels of connections with both runners and key representatives of the sport industry, allowing them to generate several leads.
